I started working in retail in a family business when I was a teenager and learned the keys to surviving in the world of retail are excellent customer service and offering value for each transaction. These concepts still shape my business philosophy and can be seen in the programs and services that the CSU Bookstore offers today. I have been the Bookstore Director at Colorado State for 16 years. Prior to CSU I worked at the University of Utah Bookstore as the Department Manager of both the School and Office Supplies and Textbook Departments. I am a University of Utah graduate and have degrees in Finance and Business Management.
I have served on national and regional committees within the bookstore industry including the Nominating, Benchmarking and CCR Committees for the National Association of College Stores, the Evaluation Committee and the Board of Directors, including Chairman of the Board, for the Independent College Bookstore Association and Bookstore Trustee, Treasurer, Vice-President and President of the Rocky Mountain College Bookstore Association. I am currently serving as a NACS Trustee.
